Cavalier Logistics is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking violations in its own operations and supply chains. We have zero tolerance towards slavery and require our supply chain to comply with our values.

We are regularly audited by our Regulatory bodies, customers, and other logistic providers.

Our supply chains

The company is committed to engaging with our stakeholders and suppliers to address the risk of modern slavery.

We work with key direct vendors who provide us with goods or service, such as equipment for our premises or the maintenance of that equipment.

We also work with several direct vendors who provide us with transport and logistics services both in the UK and across the world.

Actions

In preparation for publishing our first voluntary statement, Cavalier has taken the following steps:

  • Informed and made training available to all employees about the modern slavery act 2015, types of forced labour, general indicators of modern slavery and how to report suspected incidents.
  • Take a risk-based approach to our contracting processes and review our processes to:
  • ensure new and existing suppliers align with Cavalier’s commitments to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Vendors engaging workers through a third party to obtain third parties’ agreement to adhere to the Act
