Pharma Logistics Network was proud to see its members actively engaged in key discussions at LogiPharma 2025, one of the industry’s most important gatherings for global supply chain and logistics leaders in the pharmaceutical sector.
As part of the event’s masterclass programme, PLN Director David van Turton-who also leads Cavalier Logistics UK Ltd.-took to the stage to speak during the session “Distribution Excellence in South America.” His presentation highlighted Uruguay’s increasing relevance as a strategic gateway for pharmaceutical distribution in the region. David’s insights were part of a session led by Cristina Montero of Uruguay XXI, who brought deep regional knowledge and an economic development perspective to the discussion.
David credited Sergio Alpuy Dutra and the team at Global Cargo Logistics for their continued commitment to putting Uruguay firmly on the map as an emerging life sciences hub. As a recently appointed PLN Director for LATAM, Sergio’s work exemplifies the network’s strength in regional expertise and global connectivity.
LogiPharma 2025 provided a valuable platform for knowledge-sharing, relationship-building, and positioning PLN members at the heart of strategic supply chain conversations.
