JOB TITLE: Export Co-Ordinator
Holiday: 4 weeks plus Bank Holiday
Pension: Nest pension with employer contribution

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating the flow of goods from the UK and Channel Islands to International Clients. To ensure that all parties involved in a transaction are kept informed about its status, and they work to resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Arranging and tracking shipments
- Communicating with clients / agents for shipping details such as pickup times, shipping method, delivery date, and any special requirements. Scheduling shipment dates and times to meet customer needs.
- Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including AWB, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
- Coordinating the transportation of goods with our trusted hauliers / own transportation team
- Communicating with Airline, Freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation providers to ensure that shipments are delivered on time and within budget.
- Determine the most efficient transportation routes and methods.
- Monitor shipments for compliance with regulations and international trade laws specifically in relation to pharmaceuticals.
- Liaising with Consular companies to arrange Export permits
- Maintaining records of all export transactions, including tracking shipments and preparing reports on shipping costs and delivery times.
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC Export regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits from UK Exporters.
- Keeping up to date with changes in trade laws and regulations.
- Resolving any issues that arise during the Export process, such as customs delays or shipment errors.
- Ensuring time critical and temperature-controlled cargo is stored at the correct temperature at both airline and within our own facility.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Sequoia CDS / any other customs software knowledge.
Attention to detail.
5 Year checkable work record
DBS Check in line with Cavalier Regulated Agent Accreditation.
